Mohammad only 15 when he was arrested has been forced continuously by the authorities to call his parents and let them know that his execution is imminent.

Mohammad Saber Malik
Mohammad Saber Malik a teenage Baloch boy was arrested in Chabahr, Blochistan on 24 September 2009, together with his two older brothers. In the aftermath of the arrest, the intelligence services raided their house. The intelligence services threatened their parents to hand over their son Abidulraham Raisi to the authorities, and claimed that if they would refuse their three sons would be executed.
Four months after the arrest, the authorities released Mohammad’s brothers, but kept him in prison. Mohammad only 15 when he was arrested has been forced continuously by the authorities to call his parents and let them know that his execution is imminent.
The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) has raised awareness about his case. The news agency stresses that after seven months in prison the authorities have failed to present a legal ground for his arrest. Moreover Mohammad remains imprisoned without having committed a crime [1].
HRANA reports that Mohammad has been tortured to admit that he is member of Jundulah. In addition, the authorities also accuse his brother Obidulraman for being a member of Jundulah. Both these accusations are false. Obidulraman has been a student activist, with no connection to the armed resistance group. Instead, Mr. Obidulrahman has been persecuted because he has refused to cooperate with the regime and become an informer.
The case of Mohammad is an clear example of the way in which the authorities in Balochistan operate. On a regular basis, authorities detain human and civil rights activists on the grounds of bogus charges such as drug trafficking, terrorist activities, and government opposition.
We demand that the international community pressures Iran to release Mohammad Saber Malik immediately.
